Research Analyst

We are looking for a Research Analyst with a positive, professional, and can-do attitude, to assist a highly successful and driven team. The candidate should be courteous and approachable, able to keep work confidential, able to succeed with grace under pressure, and take prideful ownership of work output/product while achieving deadlines.

We are looking for people who share our passion for analyzing economic, commercial real estate and investment data for key trends, then synthesizing it into reports, analyses, presentations and information that our clients can use to make better-informed investment decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret data from a variety of sources to assess market’s economic environment and to evaluate commercial real estate opportunities and trends
• Prepare reports, projects, and presentations for use by executives in a wide range of conferences, speaking engagements, and media appearances
• Develop reports on market trends and behavior, offering investors value-added services and insights into market performance
• Provide analytical support on a wide variety of assignments including underwriting of potential investments, market research, review of property operating statements, cash flow modeling, property valuation, etc.
• Analyze, review, and interpret real estate source documents, including operating statements, rent rolls, budgets, loan documents, operating statements, leases, and other due diligence material

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate or other related discipline preferred.
• Ability to translate data and information into clear, professional reports and analyses that offer insightful interpretation.
• Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to manage schedules and deadlines for multiple projects.
• Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Independent, self-motivated, driven work ethic focused on results and ensuring tasks get done.
• Proficient in MS Office, including intermediate expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• Passion for Commercial Real Estate and contributing within a fast paced team oriented environment.
